Videos from the 12th Korea-China Song Festival recently caused a controversy among Girls Generation’s fans.
In multiple videos, there appeared to be a situation where a man sexually harassed Jessica. Jessica seemed to tell Hyoyeon about the situation before moving over to Sooyoung’s side while her expression also visibly darkened.
Girls Generation fans, SONES, were outraged by the supposed incident but SM Entertainment released an official response today.
SM Entertainment said, “the sexual harassment rumors are absolutely not true. If at that time, an inappropriate incident took place, we would have taken action. We would like it if there are no further misunderstandings.”
